La Patrona Fishing Jaco is complete with RUPP Outriggers, live bait well, Tuna Tubes and the latest technology
as VHF radio, Garmin GPS and fishfinder radar. Departing from Herradura Fishing La Patrona is operated by
captain Gerardo Lara, one of the most accomplished captains in Costa Rica. Gerardo and 2 of his mates
specialize in big game fishing, and other than working to put you on fish, they will also be happy to clean and
fillet the fish you catch following your trip. Our 9-hour-day offshore trips include quality fishing gear, live bait,
and lures; as well as refreshments, local beer, fresh fruit, and lunch. For Roosterfish inshore, Jaco offers a
coastline teeming with rocks, islands, and river mouths, which serve as a habitat for big Roosterfish and other
hard-fighting inshore species like Cubera Snappers, Snook, Corvina, Jacks, and Mackerel. The crew at La Patrona
is our greatest asset, a great boat means nothing without a great crew. Our team will work tirelessly to give
you the greatest chance of catching the fish of a lifetime and having a memorable day on the water.
